Over the course of my life, I can say with utmost sincerity that I never imagined I’d wind up here. I grew up with dreams of being a journeyman, and now I find myself wanting instead to write the journey.
It’s funny isn’t it? The way we set into life with expectations of taking one path, but finding ourselves rooted in another. While some of us chase glory through fame, others just want to find happiness in comfort. Where some seek the honest road of hard work, others brave the shortcuts, gambling with the thorns. Whatever the path, I like to believe that it is our dreams that continue to guide us forward. For me, I can’t imagine living otherwise.
